World’s fastest street-legal car: Maxximus G-Force with 1600 hp, 0-60 mph in 2.1 seconds
By Robert Adams on February 12th, 2009
Yesterday morning Marlon Kirby and David McMahan unveiled the Maxximus G-Force in Beverly Hills. According to World Record Academy this is the world’s fastest street-legal car.
Power comes from a 7-liter twin turbocharged Chevrolet V8 engine that outputs 1600 hp.
G-Force accelerates from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 2.1 seconds. 0-100 mph (161 km/h) comes in 4.5 seconds. 0-100-0 takes just 8.8 seconds.
Kirby is the founder of Maxximus Technologies ans McMahan is the guy who financed the program. Kirby first started with the Ultima GTR 720. He modified Ultima’s drivetrain, gearbox and most of the chassis so it would handle the acceleration. To get 1600 hp from small-block V8 they are using Turbonetics turbochargers. Power flows through a custom-made paddle-shifted three speed transmission.
This mid-engined supercar weighs 2,700 lbs (1224 kg) and can suck the fuel tank dry in 9 minutes!
If you have $3 million, then you can get one and leave all other supercars in its dust. According to McMahan already has couple of inquiries from buyers in the Middle East. To attract more customers from that region Kirby and McMahan will be taking the car to the Big Boy’s Toys Super Show in Abu Dhabi on April 30th.

How can the Maxximus G-Force cost so much when a still incredibly fast and similar Ultima GTR goes for a little less than $100k?
Seems like a monumental rip-off price for kit car!
I CALL BULL SHIT
this car is called the Ultima GTR. it is a kit car sold in pieces, usually built for a chevrolet z06 motor and possibly two turbos, (lots of variations including twin hyabusa engines) with a porche 977 rear differential. this car is no $3 million dollar car. it can be build for as little as $45k us dollars and as fast as that one for id guess $75k, not bad considering the price of beating everything you could possibly imagine on the street. i dont know where the name maximum g force is from, maybe the company sponsor, but it is definitely of Ultima design.
what is its top speed!?
It takes more than twice as long as the street legal Red Victor II to go 0-60mph.
Fastest sreet legal car nothing !
There is a guy in England with a 2200bhp Vauxhall
it 0-60 in 1 sec and pulls 7 sec quarters !
Like they said – world’s fastest street legal car is Andy Frost’s Red Victor 2. It has a 9 liter (572 ci) Chevy V8 with 2280 bhp and runs the quarter in 7.41 sec / 198 mph. That’s 0-200 mph in around 7.5 seconds. On Aug 28 Red Victor 3 will be unveiled with 3000 bhp and 6.5 sec for the quarter. Also street legal.
I agree with Ned Ryerson, red victor 2 IS the fastest STREET LEGAL car not the G-force,and red victor 3 still coming soon
i’v always thought it was the Bugatti veyron SS hehe
Last I heard Casper 2 (Twin Turbo G4 Camaro) Was quicker. Running a 7.1 on shakedown runs, but he couldn’t pass emissions.
But this man seems to have red Victor beat.

However, those are the worlds QUICKEST street legal cars. Not Fastest.
I doubt this ultima GTR has it in it to be the worlds fastest myself. Aerodynamics’s gonna be a nightmare. Could it go? Maybe. Will it be safe? HELL NO. The drive might not be willing to try it.
