Why? Mercedes-Benz gives R-Class a facelift

As these pictures prove, Mercedes is apparently planning to give it another try with their slow-selling R-class MPV: the prototype snapped in Germany today wears massive disguise on front and rear.
It is rumored the car will receive a front-end design in the style of the somewhat more friendly B-class people mover.
Though we doubt sales of the car will take off like a rocket after this facelift, we still hope it looks a bit friendlier and attractive.
The main problem of the R-class, however, can’t be changed by a makeover: the car is too big, too little elegant and much too thirsty. It might be in the top ten of the cars the world doesn’t need.

It is truely absurd that some people think that the R-class is too big.For me it is the right size, I will be in the market soon, and I would like to like to acquire one. I have a pretty sizeable family. This car would be great. I currently own a E320, and I recently visited a dealership to look at the new E-class. I tell you; it is somewhat a dissapointment. I think; it is a bit too small. I believe mercedes has not build a car of class since the nigh ties .Believe me the designers have built speed, but have they built class? I do not think so. Please do not criticize me, I am an avid mercedes fan. I would like to continue driving mercedes for the rest of my life, but if they continue like that. I do not know. Please remember everybody do not like small cars.
