During the cold snowy winter we saw the upcoming VW Pickup prototype on test drives in Sweden. Now near production ready model with alloy wheels and less camouflage has been spotted in Germany.
Code-named Robust, it will be produced in Pacheco, Argentina - not in Hannover, Germany as originally planned.
Even though VW is testing this new pickup in Europe there are still some doubts that it will be sold on that market.
Volkswagen is planning to build about 90,000 units annually mainly for South American and Latin America markets. Name Robust will very likely change on the production model.
