Volkswagen releases more Golf GTI pictures

New sixth generation Volkswagen Golf GTI will go on sale in Germany this week. Rest of the Europe will follow in April. North American and Asia are expected to follow end of summer.
To get the European launch started Volkswagen has released a new set of images of this hot hatch in red.
Volkswagen GTI VI is powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine that develops 210 bph (10 more than the previous generation).
It is also more fuel efficient with 32.2 mpg /7.4 liters per 100 km (combined). 0-100 km/ (0-62 mph) comes in 6.9 seconds. Top speed is 240 km/h (149 mph).
Just like the previous generation model it will be equipped with a standard six-speed manual gearbox and an optional 6-speed dual clutch transmission (DSG).
Customers can choose between a three-door and five-door hatchback variants.
