MKI Volkwagen Polo is not the kind of car we would expect to see at a drag race. This rebuilt Polo Dragster is something different. Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.9-liter 16V engine from AME Racing that produces an insane 1032 horsepower and 701 lb-ft of torque. Engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

As you can see in the video below this Polo based drag car had no problems with the rival car.

Quarter mile came in just 9.398 seconds at 238 km/h (147.9 mph). 0-100km/h takes just 2.3 seconds, while the top speed is near 300 km/h (186.4 mph).
