Video: Autonomous BMW 5 Series on the Autobahn

Self driving cars are very likely part of our lives in the next decade. Here we have a video from BMW, showing its autonomous 5 Series driving on the autobahn.

The ConnectedDrive system uses radar, camera systems, ultrasonic scanners and lasers to re-read the road surface, lines and surrounding vehicles. Re-reading means, the data is downloaded into the car before it can drive.
