Video: 2010 Dodge Viper ACR record lap at Laguna Seca

Until just few days ago lap record at the Laguna Seca race circuit belonged to Devon GTX(time of 1:35.075). Now there is a new record holder - 2010 Dodge Viper ACR has managed to lap the famous race track in 1:33.944.
2010 Dodge Viper ACR will be shown to the public next week at the LA Auto Show. In the heart of this beast is a 8.4-liter V10 engine with 600 horsepower and 560 lb.-ft. of torque.
Main changes compared to the current Viper ACR are a shorter fifth gear ratio for improved high-speed acceleration and higher straightaway speeds. Also rear wing profile and end plates are redesigned to further optimize the vehicle aerodynamics and improve rear yaw downforce.
