Even though Toyota is one of the biggest automakers in the world, they haven’t introduced anything really exciting for the younger crowd in a long time.
That’s not just our opinion, Toyota President Akio Toyoda has also said that they need something new and exciting, and here’s something new and refreshing: Toyota FT-86 Concept.
According to Toyota FT-86 (”86″ pronounced “hachi roku”) comes with a lightweight body and low center of gravity, which allows racecar-like handling. Power comes from a 2.0-liter boxer engine from Subaru.
Production model should debut sometime next year(very likely at a major auto show in the U.S.) with sales starting in 2011.
