The existing Murciélago is giving way to an as yet unnamed new car. The new model will combine Lamborghini’s aluminum space frame chassis with a carbon fiber body shell making it lighter in weight and giving a more power packed performance. The front spoiler will be more pronounced and the headlamps will be different.
The exhaust will nearer the ground and it will have strip like LED rear lights. The new Lamborghini will be wider and longer and it will give more power on the road. The engine will be 6.0-litre V12 with around 700bhp which means the car will go 0-60mph in just over three seconds.
While prototypes are already being tested, the final product will not hit the market before 2012. The Lamborghini is also planning to come with a hybrid which will not debut before 2015.
