Mercedes-Benz is a name synonymous with luxury and innovation and now it is presenting its new 2009 S Class model with even more technological and advanced features.

Technological highlights include the world’s first series-production hybrid drive system with a lithium-ion battery in the S 400 HYBRID, which makes this flagship Mercedes-Benz model the world’s most economical luxury saloon with a petrol engine. Besides being a hybrid model, it also uses LED lighting apart from the batteries which use kinetic energy, which makes it somewhat environmentally friendly.

Its fuel consumption of 7.9 liters per 100 kilometers corresponds to carbon dioxide emissions of just 186 grams per kilometer. This makes the new S 400 HYBRID the “CO2 champion in the luxury class”

It will offer three new interior combinations for greater choice with a selection of leather upholstery; on board digitized music system with surround sound; a rear seat entertainment system with wireless headphones and more.
