The multi-purpose Peugeot

Peugeot’s 5008 is a multipurpose vehicle which is available in five and seven seater models. It looks a bit like a longer version of the Peugeot 3008. This mid-sized vehicle combines comfort with styling and will debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September.

The seven seater car has three seats in the second row, two in the front and rear, all of which can be folded flat, if anybody wants to lie down during long journeys. The car should be available for sale in the UK next year at a price tag of £15,000.

The car features a choice of two engines which are120bhp and 156bhp and run on petrol and three engines which are from 110bhp to 163bhp and run on diesel.

The seven seater model has the following specifications:

• 2500 liters of space
• heads-up display
• multi-media system
• distance alert technology
• snow Motion, an intelligent traction control system
• two navigation systems
• almost 15′ long
• 5′ 4″ height
• aerodynamic styling (Cx of 0.29 and Scx of 0.77)
• automatic electric parking brake with ‘hill assist’ function
• attractive profiled headlamps
