The 2010 Saab 9-5 model’s pictures have been officially released on the Saab United web site. The car which will be released late this year or early next year looks a lot like the old Saab, but it has some new features.
It has a marked European influence and this car will be probably make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in a few months. A year later the Estate model should make its appearance. It should be available in petrol and diesel variants and with either four cylinder or six cylinder engines.
The new model will have a stiffer suspension set-up, a new steering rack and a different range of electronics. The car’s wheelbase will stretch 2.84m, which is up 14cm on the current model, and the overall length will stretch just over 5m. So overall the car will get a facelift, which should make it more attractive to customers.
