A brand new black Tesla Roadster got into an accident right after its owner had taken delivery of that electric supercar. Looking at the pictures we see that the Tesla has got a hit from 90s Toyota Camry to the rear and its front ended up beneath Mercedes C-Class.

According to Wired the scene was sedate with only one police car blocking the traffic. “No action, no drama — everyone was very mellow,”

Did the crash happen because Tesla is too quiet and no one notices it? Perhaps Tesla should add speakers to the car and play car engine sounds like the Fisker Karma is planning on doing.

The car is at the dealership now and will most likely be back on the road soon.

This is the fourth Tesla to be damaged. The first two were crash tests sacrificed in the name of federal crashworthiness certification, while former Tesla CEO Mark Eberhard’s car was damaged by a technician during delivery. According to Tesla, between 8 and 10 of the $109,000 electric cars have been delivered.
