Video: 2010 Dodge Viper ACR record lap at Laguna Seca

Until just few days ago lap record at the Laguna Seca race circuit belonged to Devon GTX(time of 1:35.075). Now there is a new record holder - 2010 Dodge Viper ACR has managed to lap the famous race track in 1:33.944.

2010 Dodge Viper ACR will be shown to the public next week at the LA Auto Show. In the heart of this beast is a 8.4-liter V10 engine with 600 horsepower and 560 lb.-ft. of torque.

Dodge Viper ACR laps Nürburgring faster than the ZR1 (Video)

Chrysler has big plans on selling the Viper brand. Bad timing I guess as the Viper seems to be more of a supercar than we all thought.

Motor Trend took the Dodge Viper ACR, added there a Racetech seat with a six-point harness and the rest of the car stayed factory spec fitted with the Hard Core package. Hard Core package sheds around 40 pounds of the curb weight.
