Video: Flying Saab 9-3 XWD 2.8 V6
If you know the automotive history, then you should know that Saab was an airplane manufacturer until late 1940s when it also began manufacturing automobiles. Looks like some Saab owners in Greece wish their cars could fly.
Crazy and quite dangerous for the ones who are by the road. In addition this is extremely bad for the steering, suspension and the body stiffness.
Anyway this reminds me of Saab’s slogan: “Saab, born from Jets”.
Video: This is how people roll in India
This is Unreal!!! On the highway in New Delhi a guy is riding his motorcycle and texting at the same time.
If texting while riding a motorcycle doesn’t sound dangerous enough, then his position is more than dangerous.
It looks like he is just laying there and going with the traffic. Wonder what would happen if he had to break or turn all of a sudden!

Video: Production Chevy Volt in motion
2011 Chevy Volt represents a new direction for GM. Once they killed the electric car and now they are back with the Volt.
Even though technically Volt is a hybrid it can use only electric power for up to 40 miles. Electricity is stored in lithium-ion battery. Once the battery is empty Volt’s gasoline engine will work as a generator to power Volt’s electric drive unit.
Below we have the first official video of the production Volt in motion. Enjoy!

Video: 2010 Honda/Acura NSX on the Nürburgring
In addition to the first spy pictures we brought you two weeks ago, we have also managed to get some very good shots from the Nürburgring also. What we haven’t got yet is a good video of the new NSX to share with you.
There have been some very bad quality videos on youtube of the new NSX, but not good enough to post them here. Now finally Auto Motor und Sport has made a very good video of the new NSX doing some fast laps on the famous Nürburgring.
Promotional video: Nissan GT-R

Nissan GT-R surely is one of the most expected cars. Little while a go Brits placed 700 orders for it in 48 hours.
I guess for a car that costs less than 911 Turbo and laps Nürburgring in 7 minutes and 29 seconds that kind of a popularity is understandable.
Now Nissan has released a promotional video of the GT-R.
Hope that they will have more videos coming soon with no music on the background, just engine sound.

VIDEO: New Subaru ad does sexy Japan-style
Remember a while ago we had a Chevrolet Matiz commercial featuring a model Olga Farmaki and the question was where is the car!
This time Subaru has taken a totally different approach. No long legged blondes or supermodels.
Instead they have sumo wrestlers washing the new Subaru Forester. I am pretty sure if they replaced these guys with four supermodels no one would not even notice the car. Now there is more chance you ll see the car:)
VIDEO: Lexus LF-A racing at the Nürburgring

The race-prepared Lexus LF-A–first spotted during manufacturer testing at the ‘Ring on April 17th–made its official competition debut on Saturday in the ADAC Rundstrecken Trophy Endurance series in Germany. The race was run on a combination of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, along with a sprint portion of the famous Grand Prix circuit, with each lap covering 15.18 miles (24.433 km).
The LF-A placed 77th overall after completing 23 laps during the four-hour race, with its fastest lap coming in at 9:06. Just to reiterate so there’s no confusion: this isn’t the same course that the GT-R and ZR1 are lapping.
VIDEO: The Original BMW M1 Supercar on Nürburgring

The M1 coupe was hand-built between 1978 and 1981 under the Motorsport division of BMW as a homologation special for sports car racing. The body was designed by Giugiaro, taking inspiration from the 1972 BMW Turbo show car.
Originally, BMW commissioned Lamborghini to work out the details of the car’s chassis, assemble prototypes and manufacture the vehicles, but Lamborghini’s financial position meant that BMW reassumed control over the project in April 1978, after seven prototypes were built.
Only 456 production M1s were built, making it one of BMW’s rarest models. The spirit of the M1 lived on in the first-generation M5, as both models shared the same (though slightly modified) engines.
VIDEO: Mazda destroys 4,703 shiny new cars worth $100 million

Wall Street Journal reports that Mazda decided to destroy “approximately $100 million worth of factory-new automobiles” that had been shipped on a tanker that tilted on route to the US.
The freighter, the Cougar Ace, spent weeks bobbing on the high seas, listing at a severe 60-degree angle, before finally being righted. The mishap created a dilemma: What to do with the cars?
They had remained safely strapped down throughout the ordeal — but no one knew for sure what damage, if any, might be caused by dangling cars at such a steep angle for so long. Might corrosive fluids seep into chambers where they don’t belong?
