2009 Roush RTC Mustang
ROUSH will be unveiling the new limited-edition 2009 Roush RTC Mustang at the National Mustang Show in Dublin, Ohio this Friday.
The RTC will be limited to 200 units, all coupes with a two-tone paint scheme. Manual or automatic is available, ROUSHcharger is optional. Mustang RTC Package costs 13,375.00 dollars.
2009 Cadillac CTS-V certified at 564 hp

As final testing of the limited-edition 2009 CTS-V nears completion, the results suggest that Cadillac’s upcoming sports sedan is entering the stratosphere of the world’s highest-performing cars. Cadillac announces that the all-new 2009 CTS-V, with its supercharged 6.2-liter LSA engine, has achieved a DIN-certified peak output of 564 horsepower (415 kW) at 6100 rpm and 747 Nm of torque at 3800 rpm.
The acceleration times are believed to be the fastest for any V-8-powered sedan currently in production: 0-100 km/h in only 4.2 seconds and the CTS-V covers the quarter-mile in 12 seconds at 188 km/h.
Lotus Clark Type-25 Elise Supercharged Special Edition

Jim Clark is considered by many as the finest and most naturally gifted racing driver of all time. He won the F1 World Championship twice for Team Lotus in 1963 and in 1965.
In total, he won 25 Grand Prix races and was the first Briton to win the Indianapolis 500. Clark won a third of all the F1 races he entered, as well as racing in other formulae such as F2, F3 and Touring Cars.

Official: Corvette ZR1 makes 638 hp and 604 lb-ft from the supercharged LS9 V-8

PONTIAC, Mich. – When it was introduced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit earlier this year, the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1’s power was estimated at 100 horsepower for each of its 6.2 liters of displacement.
GM Powertrain has completed SAE certification of the ZR1’s supercharged LS9 V-8 and the results exceed the estimate: 638 horsepower (476 kW) and 604 lb.-ft. of torque (819 Nm).
The LS9’s output is nearly 103 horses per liter, or just about 1.7 horses for each of the engine’s 376 cubic inches. It is unquestionably the most powerful automotive production engine ever manufactured by General Motors and enables the Corvette ZR1 to achieve a top speed of more than 200 mph (322 km/h).
