Congratulations! 60 years of Porsche production in Zuffenhausen
Zuffenhausen has been Porsche’s home address for more than 70 years and more than one million Porsche sports cars have been built here in Stuttgart since 1950.
The Porsche Design and Construction office moved from Kronenstrasse 24 in downtown Stuttgart to the new group of buildings in the District of Zuffenhausen way back in June 1938. They did produce there a Beetle in 1938 and Type 64 in 1939.
Video: Aston Martin Rapide vs Porsche Panamera Turbo
Aston Martin Rapide is marque’s first four-door sports car. From the side it looks like a DB9 and there’s a reason for that, as it is built on the extended DB9 platform.
Power comes from a 6.0-liter V12 engine that develops 470 horsepower. Porsche Panamera on the other hand is built on an all-new platform and clearly offers more space. The Turbo version is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 that produces 500 hp.

Volkswagen takes 49.9 percent stake in Porsche AG
Last year everything pointed to a Volkswagen getting swallowed by a much smaller Porsche. Unfortunately for Porsche their plan did not go through as they ended up in huge debt, despite of the fact that they owned 51 percent of Volkswagen.
So the tables turned and the two companies are integrating. Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft yesterday finally took 49.9 percent stake in Porsche AG. The price for the stake is €3.9 billion and is based on the enterprise value for Porsche AG calculated under a careful due diligence and valuation procedure.

Video: Porsche Panamera Family Tree TV commercial
Four door Porsche Panamera Gran Turismo is on sale around the world with people either hating or loving it. There are people who think that it does not belong to the sporty 911 range, which lets face it is wrong thinking, as the Panamera’s performance is definitely worth Porsche’s name.
It probably drives better than any other sports sedan on the market.
Mansory previews their tuning program for Porsche Panamera

Renderings: Porsche Supercar Concept
Talented Iranian artist Emil Baddal has created a whole set of renderings of a Porsche Supercar Concept. If these renderings were by Porsche we would be talking about a successor to the Carrera GT that was produced between 2004-2006.
It does not really remind us any of the current Porsche’s, except its Panamera-style headlights. Rest of the car reminds us more of a Bugatti Veyron.
