Porsche unveils Boxster Spyder - the lightest car in its range
The Boxster Spyder will make its world debut next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It is the third version in the Boxster range and also the lightest one in the entire Porsche model range.
Inspired by the 550 Spyder it weighs just 1,275 kg. This mid-engined roadster has no AC, no radio, no heavy insulation - making it a real drivers car.
2011 Porsche Boxster test mule spotted in Sweden
We brought you first pictures of the next-generation Porsche Boxster prototype back in November. This time the mule was spotted winter testing in Northern Sweden.
There are already lot of rumors circulating the next-generation Boxster, which is very likely going to make its world debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
Porsche is considering a diesel Boxster
No one believed few years ago that Porsche would be building SUVs and four door sedans. We already have the Cayenne and Panamera is just around the corner. Those of you who follow news daily are already well aware that from February one can buy the Cayenne with a diesel engine.
Very likely the next Porsche to get a diesel engine is the next-generation Boxster. A diesel powered Porsche Boxster?! Sounds crazy at first, but makes sense.
Spy shots: 2011 Porsche Boxster
Porsche introduced the facelifted Boxster and Cayman just few days ago at this year’s L.A. Auto Show. In addition to the next generation 911 (998) that our spy photographer spotted today, he also managed to get first photos of the next generation Boxster.
Looks like Porsche is very busy working on their next generation model line-up. Wish they could be as fast with the Panamera as well, and finally introduce it to the public.
