9ff TR-1000 is the fastest Porsche 911 in the world (Video)

9ff_tr_1000_029ff TR-1000 is a tuned Porsche 911 Turbo that produces 1000 horsepower and 1040 NM of torque. Engine changes include larger turbochargers, improved intercooler, titanium con rods, crankshafts, sport air filter revised ECU and a new high performance exhaust system.

0-100 km/h comes in just 3.2 seconds. 100-200 km/h in 4.8 seconds, 200-300 km/h in 8 seconds. 300-360 km/h in 16 seconds.

2010 Porsche 911 Turbo slashes 10 seconds from the Ring time

911 TurboNew Porsche 997 Turbo was introduced last month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Main changes are under the skin and visually most people can’t tell the difference between a new model and its predecessor.

But under the skin changes are worth mentioning again and again. Power comes from a new 3.8-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine that produces 500 horsepower (20 hp more than the previous model) and 480 lb-ft of torque.

The first entirely new engine in the 35-year-history of the Turbo comes with features such as Direct Fuel Injection and Porsche’s exclusive turbocharger with variable turbine geometry on a gasoline power unit.

Porsche 911 Turbo with 1000 hp by SPI

Tym Switzer has been quietly running Switzer Performance Innovations (SPI) in Oberlin, Ohio for several years, building show-quality exhausts and bolt-on performance products for twin-turbo Porsche 996 and 997 models.

With his latest project, Tym and the crew at SPI wanted to test the limits of what would be possible with stock 997 internals. His crew had no problem getting 700 wheel horsepower from 997 turbo engines. This was not enough and they wanted to go a bit further.

TECHART GTstreet R, based on the Porsche 911 Turbo

TECHART announced today their new model The GTstreet R, that is based on the 911 Turbo. It is fitted with the TECHART performance kit TA097/T3 that boosts the power to 485 kW (660 hp) and offers a maximum torque of 860 Nm at 4,600 rpm.

The GTstreet R with Tiptronic S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and with manual transmission it only takes a tenth of a second longer. Top speed is 345 km/h.

Roock RST 600 LM Porsche 911 Turbo

Roock is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Le Mans Victory with the RST 600 LM Porsche 911 Turbo.
The Roock RST 600 LM Porsche 911 Turbo is powered by the 3.6-liter engine that has been tuned to develop 602 hp and 611 lbs.ft. of torque. The top speed is 212 mph. 0-60 mph takes just 3.1 seconds on the Tiptronic S model(3.3 seconds with the manual gearbox).

The upgrade list of the Roock RST 600 LM Porsche 911 Turbo includes a new body kit, electronic adjustable sport suspension, lightweight aluminum racing wheels and a titanium exhaust system.
