Opel Insignia OPCSpring is officially on for automakers as first test mules are already doing their testing on the famous Nürburgring. Yesterday we brought you first spy photos of the Opel Insignia OPC with production bumpers.

Now the same car has been spotted on The Ring doing some final testing before it goes on sale this summer.

Opel Insignia OPC spied with production bumpers

Opel Insignia OPCJust recently we brought you photos of the Insignia Sports Tourer OPC prototype that still had the regular model bumpers. This time we have photos of the Insignia OPC sedan with production bumpers that are lightly disguised to hide final details.

The car spotted is finished in OPC blue color, which has been used on OPC models for years.

Opel Insignia OPC spied with new details

2009 Opel Insignia OPCLast time our photographer spotted the Opel Insignia OPC it had black wheels. This time the car has been spotted with new details that make the car look even better. It has newly designed wheels in a size of 18″ or 19″ and big Brembo brakes.

As before the front end has a very strong disguise to hide new and bigger intakes. Insignia OPC is getting mos tlikely the new twin-turbo V6 that generates over 300hp. Rumor is that there might be another performance version coming that will be badged under Lotus, as it was in the nineties with Lotus Omega.

Opel Insignia OPC spied as a hatchback version

 Opel Insignia OPC spied as a hatchback versionLast month Opel introduced Insignia at the London Motor Show. Last week they announced that the third body version of the Insignia called Sports Tourer will debut at the Paris Motor Show.

Now our spy photograper in Germany has captured the hatchback version of the Insignia that has camouflaged front grill and bumper, also the rear bumper and and exhausts are disguised. Hidden front end is most likely hiding new and bigger air intakes.
