2010 North American Car and Truck of the Year nominees announced

Porsche Panamera North American International Auto Show in January is one of the biggest car shows in the world. In addition to all the different concepts and new arrivals, it is also the event where we get to hear which vehicle gets nominated as North American Car and Truck of the Year.

Organizers of the event have released a list of the nominees in both the truck and car category.

Truck of the year is Ford F-150 or Dodge Ram?

Today Ford sent out a press release where it stated that 2009 F-150 is named North American Truck of the Year at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).

Even though it is the weekend, Chrysler’s PR was not at home sleeping as they had sent out a press release earlier where they were happy about the 2009 Dodge Ram, that earned the 2009 International Truck of the Year, awarded by International Car of the Year (ICOTY) jurors. The Dodge Ram beat the new 2009 Ford F-150 and Subaru Forester for top honors.
