Shelby unveils 2011 GT350 with around 500 hp
Shelby American brings back the legendary Shelby GT350 to its lineup of American performance cars. The supercharged concept version of the Mustang-based 2011 Shelby GT350 twas unveiled at the Barrett-Jackson Auction Opening Night Gala to honor the 45th anniversary of the first GT350 and first Shelby big block Cobra.
Shelby worked with Ford Racing to supercharge the engine with a goal of 500 horsepower, as well as to sharpen the handling.

This one will surely be no different. With the new S197 Mustang for 2010, Roush had a clean sheet to work with. A clean car is what they came up with, too.
2010 Ford Shelby GT500 packs 540 horsepower
Ford introduced the new 2010 Mustang at the 2008 LA Auto Show. Now Ford has revealed the details on 2010 Shelby GT500, the most powerful SVT-tuned Mustang ever.
Its supercharged 5.4L V8 produces 540-hp and 510 lb-ft torque. Twin-disc clutch 6-speed manual has been upgraded as well to offer even better performance.

2010 Ford Mustang revealed
America’s favorite muscle car for 45 years straight hits the streets with a new exterior and interior design and an upgraded V-8 with even more horsepower and an even throatier signature Mustang exhaust sound.

ROUSH Performance continues their homage to the legendary World War II fighter plane with the 2009 P-51B™ Mustang, the second aviation-themed pony car from the Michigan-based manufacturer.
This car, based on the 2009 Ford Mustang chassis, will be limited to just 51 numbered production vehicles in the 2009 model year.
SEMA 2008: Ford introduces Cobra Jet Mustang
In honor of the 40th anniversary of the release of the first Ford Cobra Jet Mustang in 1968, Ford Racing is introducing the 2008 Cobra Jet Mustang, now available for customers to race in NHRA sportsmen classes during the 2009 season.
The new Mustang FR500CJ is officially being launched at the Ford press conference today, as part of the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

2009 Saleen Dark Horse Extreme Edition Mustang
Ford will reveal the all new Mustang at the 2008 LA Auto Show, before that Saleen will take the most of current Mustang with the 2009 Dark Horse Extreme Edition. Saleen will build only 25 of the Dark Horse Extreme Edition Mustangs, production will begin in November.
The Dark Horse makes 620 hp with a maximum torque of 600 lb-ft, thanks to a Port Matched Series VI Integrated Screw type supercharger.

Ford releases 2010 Mustang dash teaser
Last week Ford revealed five teaser images of the new 2010 Mustang. We didn’t expect to see another image that soon, but here it is. 2010 Ford Mustang Dash.
New Mustang will be officially introduced at the LA Auto Show. It seems that more teasers will follow soon as on special web site at the2010mustang.com/ looks to be nine more photo spots that are currently locked.

Ford shows 2010 Mustang again with heavy disguise
Yes shows not as usually when spy photographers work hard to get the new car prototypes pictured. This is not the first time Ford shows new Mustang to the public. They showed 2010 Mustang in a heavy disguise at Road america weekend.
Now camouflaged 2010 Mustang prototype has been spotted with a sticker on the car’s windshield that says: the2010mustang.com is alive. We have never seen anything like it. Car that is heavily disguised promotes itself. Strange marketing.
Official images and information will be available in late November at the Los Angeles Motor Show.
Ford Mustang gets a new pony emblem for 2010 models
Curious about what the 2010 Ford Mustang looks like? So far Ford has shown us only the camouflaged 2010 Ford Mustang. According to Ford its new pony badge offers a clue. Like the upcoming restyled Mustang, the new pony is more defined, more muscular and sure to catch the eye of Mustang enthusiasts.
A stronger, more dynamic pony badge with defined edges and crisper forms in a subtly toned tinted-chrome finish will charge across the grilles of the V-6 and GT versions of the 2010 Mustang.

Ford shows camouflaged 2010 Mustang during historic racing weekend at Road America
Last weekend Ford showed 2010 Mustang in camouflage at the Kohler International Challenge vintage race.
2010 Ford Mustang served as the pace car for the vintage race field throughout the weekend.
The next-generation Mustang was outfitted in a special “camo” package, keeping some key design cues secret until its reveal later this year.

2009 Roush RTC Mustang
ROUSH will be unveiling the new limited-edition 2009 Roush RTC Mustang at the National Mustang Show in Dublin, Ohio this Friday.
The RTC will be limited to 200 units, all coupes with a two-tone paint scheme. Manual or automatic is available, ROUSHcharger is optional. Mustang RTC Package costs 13,375.00 dollars.

All-electric EVX Mustang and Shelby Cobra

The idea of an electric Pony car or Shelby Cobra may not sit well with some but California-based HST International and design firm Tjaarda have developed a pair of electric vehicles ready for sale based on the aforementioned muscle cars.
Dubbed the Tjaarda EVX Mustang and HST Shelby Cobra EVX, the two new cars will be on show this weekend at the 34th Annual Toyota GP in Long Beach, California.
