World’s ugliest Mercedes McLaren SLR found!
If you thought that ASMA Design Perfectus SLR is the ugliest tuned SLR, then we have news. There is a modified SLR called Red Gold Dream McLaren SLR 999 that is by far uglier than the Perfectus SLR.
Sure it has impressive numbers, as the engine pumps out 1000 horsepower. But who cares as the car looks just so wrong from every angle.
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 by ASMA Design
We have seen too many tuners getting their hands on SLR McLaren, it looks like there is no stopping as ASMA Design is the next company that has developed their version of the amazing supercar.
In the press release ASMA says that it is hard to make claims of perfection, but there is one man who can actually make this claim of perfection, and even go as far as to name his incredible automotive creation Perfectus.

Mercedes at the Detroit Auto Show (live from Detroit)
Our favorite from Mercedes-Benz at the Detroit Auto Show is the McLaren SLR Stirling Moss, that will be limited to just 75 units and has a price tag of one million U.S. dollars.
This supercar is powered by a 650 hp supercharged 5.5-liter V8. The car lacks roof and windshield, but still has a top speed of 217 mph ( 350 km/h) and 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) comes in just 3.5 seconds. (Read more about it here.) In addition Mercedes showed the BlueZero Concept, SL65 AMG, S-Class, S63 AMG and few other models.

Hamann Volcano comes with 700 hp
We brought you first details of the Hamann Volcano last month. Now Hamann has released all the details on their new project, that is based on the already impressive Mercedes-Benz SLR.
The total makeover is made of extremely light full carbon and consists of front- and rear wing extensions and also new side skirt attachments and sheathings.
Video preview: Hamann Volcano
We have seen a 2-tone black and white SLR before by Mansory. This time Hamann has released a video preview of their new project called Volcano that also has a 2-tone scheme and is based on the SLR McLaren. Previously Hamann has worked on Lamborghini’s, Ferrari’s, Porsche’s and Aston Martin’s.
Hamann Volcano gets a very aggressive rear wing and a roof air scoop, adding some racing cues compared to the base SLR. Other modifications we can see include a new rear diffuser, 3-piece alloy wheels, front skirt, triple exhaust and darkened rear lights. We expect to get more details from Hamann soon, meanwhile take a look at the video preview below.
