Congratulations Lamborghini! 4000th Murcielago leaves the factory
The LP 670-4 SuperVeloce version of its current flagship V12 Murciélago, carrying series number 4,000, has just left Lamborghini’s factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese, to a Chinese buyer.
Commenting on the record production, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann said, “The enthusiasm our products incite makes us proud and confirms that the company’s product strategy and model range are a winning combination, producing exceptionally desirable super sportscars.”
ENCO Exclusive Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4
Last time we heard from ENCO Exclusive they had created a Cayenne based monster called Gladiator. This time they have taken the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 to give it more power and carbon fiber upgrades to the body and interior.
Body kit starts with the GT3 design front bumper with three large gills on each side where the fibre strands are clearly visible.
Another Lamborghini Murcielago smashed, third car in four weeks
What we have here is another Lamborghini Murcielago crash from Russia. This is the third Murcielago accident within last four weeks.
Last time we brought you photos of two yellow Murcielagos that were damaged when drivers lost control of the vehicles.
Rendered speculation: Lamborghini Reventon Roadster
Few weeks ago rumors started circulating that Lamborghini is preparing a very exclusive Reventon Roadster as a final version of the Murcielago.
Only nine cars will be built with prices starting above one million euros (1.3 million U.S. dollars), excluding taxes.
Owner crashes Lamborghini Murcielago in Russia, leaves the scene in a Bentley
Accidents involving supercars are not too common, but when they do happen people will talk about it.
This last supercar accident happened in the city of Stavropol, Russia where an owner of a yellow Lamborghini Murcielago lost control of his four month old car and crashed into the pole.
Lamborghini Estoque cancelled
Lamborghini Estoque concept was probably one of the most interesting concept cars at last year’s Paris Motor Show.
This four-door supercar was waiting for a green light from the VW’s executive board. Now according to Maurizio Reggiani, head of research and development at Lamborghini, Estoque has been put on ice for the time being.

Today Lamborghini released first studio photographs of a limited edition Murcielago LP 650-4 Roadster. Power comes from an uprated 6.5-liter V12 that develops 650 horsepower.
0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) comes in 3.4 seconds and the top speed is around 330 km/h (205 mph).
Rendered speculation: Lamborghini Insecta Concept
The Lamborghini Insecta Concept is a design study created by Romanian designer Iulian Bumbu. Despite being just an idea with no relations to Lamborghini, it is an awesome looking 2-seater supercar concept.
His inspiration came from bugs(insects) and their exoskeletons. This kind of “armor” appearance can bee seen on the back and top views.
Audi wants to step into Murcielago shoes?
It is rumored that after dropping the V12 TDI plan for R8, Audi engineers are still working on a more powerful unit than the R8 V10 5,2 FTI Quattro.
Just to get back on Lamborghini which they happen to own? InsideLine reports that Audi is working on an engine that should overpower the 5,2 V10 and its 528 hp.
Fifth Gear tests Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 in the SNOW
Its all about Top Gear lately, so let’s take a little break from the best show in the world to see what another great show called Fifth Gear is up to.
As it is winter Tiff Needell has taken the Gallardo LP560-4 to see how it handles in the snow.
Get your hands on the first used Reventon on the market!
Sometimes when a dream comes true, it loses all its magic. Closing the eyes and thinking about the various showpieces and angles of a Lamborghini Reventon seemed to have more glamour than actually sitting in it and driving it.
The Lamborghini Reventon is one of the most desirable supercars of nowadays but in the end it is still just a vehicle. It even has four wheels and other such traditional boring elements. We have heard that it is awesome and almost unrealistic to drive, but it is still a so-called poster-car. Just like the Countach was. Only the latter was a pain to drive and handle and hopelessly impractical.
Volkswagen sues Lamborghini O.C. for theft of $12 million
In November we reported that the worlds largest Lamborghini dealer closed its doors. At the time Automobili Lamborghini America said the dealer closed because of its own mistakes, not the economy.
“The financial stress Lamborghini Orange County is experiencing is due to several unfortunate business decisions made by management at Lamborghini Orange County, independently of Automobili Lamborghini,” said Pietro Frigerio, chief operating officer of Lamborghini America back in November.

Lambo doing well despite closing down its biggest dealership
After the chaps at Audi took over Lamborghini, the tables turned for the good. The cash register at Lamborghini had started to ring more frequently, the quality of their cars were much better and there was a certain German feel to the supercars that couldn’t be explained.
Many cribbed that the cars that rolled out of the Lamborghini facility lacked that pizzazz that Italian cars were famous for, but Audi and Lamborghini never complained as they laughed their way to the bank.
