Kia releases teasers for the next-generation Magentis

The next generation Kia Magentis(also known in North America as Optima) will make its world debut in early April at the New York International Auto Show.

This mid-size sedan is completely redesigned and features now a new bold, athletic and sporty visual energy. It is longer, lower and wider than the model it replaces. It also boasts a longer wheelbase offering considerably more interior room.

Kia Ray plug-in hybrid concept debuts in Chicago

Kia Motors yesterday unveiled its “Ray” plug-in Hybrid concept at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show, showcasing a futuristic four-seat compact saloon based on the Kia Forte platform.

Designed with lightweight and recycled materials, as well as hexagonal solar cells embedded in the glass roof panel to power extra lighting or climate control systems, the Kia “Ray” boasts a range of up to 746 miles.

Geneva Preview: 2011 Kia Sportage

In less than a month Kia will premier all-new Sportage at the Geneva Motor Show. It does look like a smaller version of the new Sorento, which is not a bad thing. It looks good and a huge step from the current generation model.

New Sportage is longer, lower and wider compared to the outgoing model. Design is bolder and sportier, marking a dramatic shift in design direction for the brand’s popular SUV.

Kia Cadenza sedan first details revealed

Kia has unveiled the first official pictures and details of the production version of its KND-5 concept car. This new luxury sedan by Kia is called “Cadenza” in markets outside of Korea. At the kome market it will be called K7.

The Cadenza name is derived from an Italian musical term used to describe an elaborate, ornamental flourish for a concerto or aria.

New spy photos reveal Kia cee’d Plus MPV interior and front

This time the production version of the Kia No 3 concept called Kia cee’d Plus MPV was spotted on a trailer in Germany. Rear of the car is still heavily disguised, but we can see more of the front and also we can show you the interior of this new small MPV.

Kia will target this small C-segment MPV against the Volkswagen Golf Plus and Ford Focus C-Max.

2010 Kia Forte Koup debuts at the New York Auto Show

Kia introduced Forte sedan at the Chicago Auto Show in February. Now in New York Kia has unveiled two-door version of the sedan called Forte Koup.

Compared to the sedan it has a sportier and more aggressive design.

Kia VG concept debuts at the Seoul Auto Show

Today at the Seoul Auto Show Kia unveiled the VG concept to the public. Codenamed KND-5 it is not just a concept but a preview for the actual production model that debuts already this fall in South Korea.

VG Concept is designed under the guidance of Peter Schreyer, whose previous employer was Audi for over 25 years.

First Kia VG concept image released

We brought you last spy photos of the luxury Kia VG beginning of this month from the Arctic Circle. Kia VG prototype was going through some heavy testing in very extreme conditions.

Now finally the first VG(KND-5) concept image has been released as the car is making its public debut end of this week at the 2009 Seoul Motor Show.

2010 Kia VG spotted in the Arctic Circle

We have brought you spy photos of the Kia’s new luxury sedan codenamed “VG” before. This time the car was spotted in Northern Sweden wearing typical Kia’s black disguise.

Even though the car has heavy camouflage we can see that it is another sedan to use the coupe-style design.

2010 Kia Sorento official renderings released

Last week Kia showed us a side view of the next generation Sorento. Today Kia released first official renderings of the new Sorento. New Sorento is designed under the watch of ex-Audi designer Peter Schreyer. Design is very clean and simple.

Official debut will take place at the Seoul Motor Show in April. South Korean sales will start soon after.

Small MPV concept Kia No 3 heading to Geneva

Next week at the Geneva Motor Show, Kia will unveil an all-new MPV concept - No 3. This concept is based on the cee’d platform and features panoramic glass roof, extended windscreen, automatic sun visor and a newly designed front grille, which according to Kia is the new “face of Kia”

No 3 Concept is 4045 mm (13.3 ft) long, finished in matte Titanium Grey with contrasting gloss-white accents.

Kia releases first official image of the next generation Sorento

Last spy photos of the next generation Sorento we brought you had very little disguise. Compared to the current Sorento the new model looked sportier and bigger in size.

Now first official image of the new Sorento XM has been released showing us the side view. Public debut should take place at the upcoming Seoul Auto Show.

Kia to reveal a new MPV Concept at the Geneva Motor Show

Next month at the Geneva Motor Show Kia Motor will reveal a new small MPV(Million Possibilities Vehicle) concept car.

Today Kia released a teaser image of the unnamed concept and pointed out that it has a unique glass roof treatment. According to Kia this glass roof should create a cool and spacious automotive powerhouse.

Kia Ceed Plus spotted in Northern Scandinavia

Looks like Northern Scandinavia is THE PLACE when it comes to latest spy shots. This time camouflaged Kia Ceed Plus was spotted in heavy snow.

First time we saw the Kia Ceed Plus was in August when we showed you a lime green Ceed Plus in the Alps. Looks like the folks at Kia want to make sure the car feels home in any climate and have taken the testing to snowy and cold Sweden.
