Top Gear returning in June

topgearclarkson2Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are back for a 13th series coming in June. The same guys who bring us all of our favorite automotive antics and the best auto drama ever to see the light of television.

Better known to us as Clarkson, Captain Slow and Hamster, are coming back to share their unique blend of comedy, entertainment and very informative knowledge once again.

Top Gear Season 12 trailer released

This year there is four Top Gear shows. In addition to the original Top Gear, there is Russian, Australian and U.S. version.

The original Top Gear will start with season 12 on November 2nd. BBC has released a short video teaser, that shows us Hammond, Clarkson and May playing around with new supercars and other toys. In addition to cars, this magic trio also tests/plays around with big trucks, double-decker bus and a speedboat. Surely there is a lot more coming this season than showed in this teaser commercial, so stay tuned and get ready for the new season in a few weeks.

Top Gear trio testing the Corvette ZR1, Challenger SRT8 and CTS-V at Bonneville Salt Flats

Top Gear at Bonneville Salt FlatsClarkson, Hammond and May have been spotted at Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah testing three of the hottest American cars on the market. Last week they they were spotted in Reno with the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 and the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V. It seems that we can see a full episode dedicated to American cars on Top Gear soon.

So far Top Gear hasn’t been very generous when it comes to American cars and positive comments. Soon we’ll see can these three American cars change Clarkson’s view on American cars or not.

Top Gear is going on a world tour

topgeartopgear.jpg TV car show Top Gear is to be turned into a live event for a world tour that will visit 15 countries.
The BBC Two show’s presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are expected to sign up for the British leg of the Top Gear Live tour.

BBC Worldwide said the live shows would “incorporate the drama of film and theatre with the thrills and spills of stunts and special effects”.
