5th Gear tests 2009 Ford Focus RS and loves it

2009 Ford Focus RS New Focus RS is the fastest-ever car by Ford in Europe. It will go on sale in the UK beginning of March with a base price of £24,995 (27,899 euros / 37,800 USD).

Power comes from a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder Duratec engine that develops 305 hp. Features include unique camshafts and a revised cylinder head and gasket, intake and manifold system.

Ford announces UK pricing for 2009 Focus RS

Last week we got a pretty good look at the Focus RS in performance blue. New Focus RS is the fastest-ever car by Ford in Europe. Focus RS will go on sale in the UK in March with a base price of £24,995 (27,899 euros / 37,800 USD)

Focus RS is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter, five-cylinder Duratec engine that produces 305 hp.
All these wild horses are sent to front wheels via six-speed transmission. 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) takes less than six seconds ant targeted top speed is over 160 mph (257 km/h).

Over 1,000 orders for new Ford Focus RS in UK

New Ford Focus RS is fast and it looks good. 0-100km/h in under 6.0 seconds and a top speed of 260 km/h or more is something to be proud of.

It seems that the Focus RS is is the next choise among performance car enthusiasts in the UK. So far 1,000 customer orders have been placed. Although no details of available colors have been confirmed, around 40 per cent of the applicants requested the unique Electric Green shade of the London Show vehicle. Other popular requests were Frozen White and Electric Blue.

Focus RS revealed again! This time in Paris

2009 Ford Focus RS Ford already introduced the new Focus RS at the London Motor Show in July. In addition to the London Ford is bringing the New Focus RS to Paris. Development work has confirmed it as the fastest ever European Ford production car.

New Ford Focus RS: A legend returns

2009 Ford Focus RS The legendary Ford RS performance car brand is returning in the shape of the exciting new Ford Focus RS, which will be previewed on July 22 at the 2008 London International Motor Show.

The new Focus RS will go on sale in early 2009 and is being created by a small team of dedicated engineers, under the direction of Jost Capito, Ford of Europe’s Vehicle Line Director for Performance Vehicles.
