Mercedes-Benz adds AMG Sports package for the 2010 S-Class and CL-Class

If you don’t have enough money to buy the real thing by AMG, you can now for the first time buy the AMG Sports package for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the CL-Class.

With AMG Sports package you surely get the sporty, just without the extra horsepower that AMG models feature.

Carlsson Aigner CK65 RS “Eau Rouge” Dark Edition

The automobile manufacturer Carlsson who is specialised on Mercedes Benz, extends its co-operation with the leather lifestyle brand Etienne Aigner AG and will exhibit the world premiere of the Carlsson Aigner CK65 RS “Eau Rouge” Dark Edition at the Zürich Auto Show.

Produced in small series, the luxury coupé is available with either a V12 Bi-Turbo with 705 hp or a second power level with 756 hp and 1,150 Nm.

Mercedes-Benz CL Super Wide Edition by VITT

Lately it seems that CL-Class is one of the hottest cars among tuners. What we have here is a new wide body kit by japanese tuning firm VITT Performance.

VITT Mercedes CL Super Wide Edition main highlights include new front and rear aprons, widened fenders in both the front and back, new side skirts, a roof and trunk spoiler and a new vented hood.

Wheels are 20-inch with performance tires and on the rear you will find a new stainless exhaust system that pretty much completes this package.

Kicherer CL 65 Coupé gets 650 hp!

Last time we heard from Kicherer was when they introduced their version of CL 60. It looks like giving CL 60 570 hp was not enough as their new project is based on the CL 65 Coupe.

Originally, the V12 biturbo had already been blessed with 612 hp and 1,000 Nm. After the Kicherer treatment, 650 hp and 1.200 Nm are waiting to be explored and push the heavy luxury glider from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4.2 seconds. The top speed is at 320 km/h.

Kicherer CL 60 Coupe gets 570 hp

Mercedes-Benz CL is one of the most comfortable and largest coupes on the market.
And those who will choose the top of the line CL 600 with V12 biturbo will be able to take pleasure in something like sports car characteristics despite the giant’s opulent weight. If that V12 biTurbo with 517 hp is not enough you can always turn to Kicherer specialists.

Spy photos: Mercedes-Benz CL-Class facelift

In addition to the S-Class facelift Mercedes-Benz is working on the facelift for the CL-Class.

As with the S-Class the changes are quit minor. The front lights have a new form that has some design cues from the new SL. Also the blinkers are new and Mercedes will be using LED lights on the facelifted CL-Class in a similar way “around” the light like on Audi A4. Rear lights will also get LEDs.

AG Excalibur: fully modified Mercedes-Benz CL (interview with the owner)

A while ago we brough you a story about a modified 6-series BMW that had 26 inch rims. The car was built by Audronis Gestautas in Lithuania.
In addition to that 6-series BMW Audronis has built another custom car called AG Excalibur.

This fully custom car is based on Mercedes-Benz CL Class and is mainly constructed from PU foam.

Wing doors for Mercedes CL by LSD

By mounting LSD wing door hinges, the actual Mercedes CL luxury coupé becomes the absolute looker. The wing doors hinges are available with immediate effect.

The LSD wing door hinges for the Mercedes CL feature the new GRS+ (Guided Roller System). It offers an adjustment possibility with the roller guidance of the roller bearing integrated in the hinges and additional stability through a catch which that locks in fully-opened condition. This results in more safety and more precise opening and closing of the door.
