Ferrari has released a new set of California images. Surprise, surprise! These photos were all taken in California. Even though California hasn’t made into any dealership yet, it has been sold out through 2010.
This 460 hp hard top convertible sprints from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than 4 seconds. Both chassis and bodywork are aluminum, in line with the rest of the current range. Prices will start at around 170000 Euros. If you are not on the list then get ready to pay a lot more on the aftermarket.

Video: Michael Schumacher completes development testing on Ferrari California
Michael Schumacher is currently completing the track and road development stages of the Ferrari California, the new 8-cylinder model due to be officially unveiled at the Paris International Motor Show on October 2nd this year.
The seven times Formula 1 world champion has been involved in the development of the latest Prancing Horse road car since its inception and has worked with Ferrari’s team of engineers, technicians and test-drivers on honing the car in general, but more specifically on optimising its performance parameters.

In additon to the official pictures Autobild has managed to get more pictures inside and outside.
According to them the new California will cost around 170000 euros.
As stated earlier California will be available exclusively as a convertible with a folding hard top. Both chassis and bodywork are aluminium, in line with the rest of the current range.
California’s 4300 cc V8 engine is mounted in the mid-front position. It generates 460 hp at 7500 rpm. That engine allows Ferrari California to sprint form 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds.

The Ferrari California joins the Prancing Horse’s 8-cylinder family which has always been defined by power and performance. It also flanks the flagship 612 Scaglietti in the prestige sporty Grand Tourer segment.
