BMW GT 6, Z2 and 3 Series Supersports in development

BMW Z2 rendering Here’s some interesting information about BMW’s future models. Even though times are hard and BMW has canceled many models in the past, they do have more interesting stuff in development.

First one is called GT 6, codenamed F14 and based on the new 2010 BMW 6 Series platform F10.

Rendered speculation: 2012 BMW Z2

About a month ago we reported that BMW plans to produce a Z2 Roadster that will be based on the platform of the 1-series.

Z2 would come with a soft fabric roof and the styling would be similar to Z4. Engine choices would be the same as on the 1-series. Currently the project waits for an approval from the top heads at BMW. Most likely the car would be first introduced in 2011 or 2012 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

BMW considers Z2 roadster based on 1-series

BMW 1-series coupe Everything seems to be getting smaller and more fuel efficient. SUV’s get smaller versions and they sell quit well. BMW has X5 and its smaller brother X3. Audi has Q7 and Q5, VW has Touareq and Tiquan.
