625 hp G-Power Typhoon “Black Pearl” based on BMW X5(E70)

G-Power Typhoon Black Pearl BMW tuner G-Power is turning 25 and is introducing an exclusive special model of the G-POWER X5 TYPHOON to the market called the “Black Pearl”. Based on the BMW X5(E70) it packs an impressive 625 hp and has a top speed of more than 300 km/h.

As the name already applies, this special edition is entirely black. Aggressive body kit features new rear and front skirts, side skirts, new hood with better ventilation and wider fenders.

G-Power Typhoon based on BMW X5 packs 525 horsepower

G-Power Typhoon If you can’t wait for the X5 M to arrive and think it does not look aggressive enough there is a solution from G-Power. This BMW tuner added a compressor to the current 4.8-liter engine that now develops 525 horsepower(up by 170 hp).

Top speed is 275 km/h (170 mph) and 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) comes in 5.0 seconds.

Spy shots: 2010 BMW X5 M in Le Mans Blue

500 + horsepower! We have brought you spy shots of the upcoming BMW X5 M since last summer. This time the M version of the X5 was spotted winter testing in Sweden. So far all the models spotted have been in black, but this time the car is in blue. IF we are correct it is the BMW’s Le Mans Blue.

Camouflage is still hiding huge air intakes and side vents. On the rear we can see the quad exhaust tips.

Spy shots: BMW X5 (E70) facelift

2010 BMW X5 facelift BMW X5 has been on sale since 1999. In 2007 BMW introduced the second generation X5 (E70) which is wider and longer compared to its predecessor.

We just showed you the M version of the X5(E70) and now we have first pictures of the facelifted base model, that will go on sale end if this year.

BMW X5 M spied again, this time doing rounds around Munich

2010 BMW X5 M We have been bringing you spy shots of the X5 M prototypes since last summer, over time the cars lose more and more disguise and now seem to be almost production ready.

This time we can take a better look a the quad exhaust tips, lightly covered side vents and larger air-intakes up front. X5 M will have over 500 hp and the question still remains where will the power come from.

Spy shots: 2010 BMW X5 M

We saw the first prototype of the X5 M back in June. Little before Christmas BMW also revealed a video of the X5 M prototype. This time we have three pictures of the X5 M that reveal the quad exhaust tips, the (lightly covered) signature side vents and the larger air-intakes up front. It’s all part of the M-series functionality and styling.

The X5 M will follow the X6 M-version, and will likely be powered by BMW’s 500+ horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

BMW X5 M testing video

We brought you first spy photos of the X5 M already back in June. For a while it was not sure is BMW really going to use the M badge on the SUV. Now it is clear as BMW has confirmed it and has also released first video of the X5 M.

There is no official word on the engine, but as we have reported earlier, power will very likely come from either a 5.0-liter V10 with 507 hp(found in the M5 and M6) or 4.4-liter V8 with around 400 hp found in the X6 xDrive50i.
