Audi A4 2.0 TDI e starts at 30,800 euros in Germany

Audi A4 2.0 TDI eDiesels are getting more and more fuel efficient. In Europe Audi will launch A4 2.0 TDI e in early June that consumes just 4.6 liter per 100 km (51.13 mpg).

Emissions are 119 grams of C02 per kilometer which is the best in its class. There is also an Avant version available which consumes just a little more fuel.

2010 Audi A4 allroad quattro unveiled

Prices start at 37,100 eurosThe Audi allroad quattro has been produced since 1999. It has been based on the Audi A6 Avant until today. Now the range also includes the A4 allroad quattro, which is based on the A4 Avant.

Just like its bigger brother it comes with permanent all-wheel drive and increased ground clearance. Base models come with 17-inch wheels in 7-arm design, 18-inch are optional.

The fight for World Car of the Year has narrowed down to 11

2010 Jaguar XF Diesel SThe World Car of the Year has a tiny birthday already. It gets five. Congratulations! Winning the World Car of the Year title is the best promotion any automaker can probably wish for. Plenty of media coverage plus the title no other automaker can use.

There is a ie and so there are 11 finalists instead of 10: Audi A4/Avant, BMW 7 Series, Citroën C5 Sedan/Tourer, Fiat 500, Ford Fiesta, Honda Jazz/Fit, Jaguar XF, Mazda6/Atenza, Nissan GT-R, Toyota iQ and VW Golf VI.

2009 Audi A4 Allroad spotted winter testing in Sweden

2009 Audi A4 AllroadWe have already showed you the A4 Allroad Sedan, which was just a test mule for the real car.

What we have here are the production ready A4 Allroad spy shots from snowy Sweden, where Audi engineers are doing final tests on the car. A4 Allroad will get wider wheel arches and increased ride-height like the A6 Allroad, also Allroad version has revised bumpers and rear LED lights.

Audi A4 sells better in Germany than the BMW 3-Series

2008 was a successful year for Audi. In addition to selling over one million cars, they also managed to sell the new A4 better in their home market than BMW did with their 3-Series.

BMW still leads Audi globally as they managed to sell 1.12 million cars in 2008. It is very likely that Audi will outsell BMW globally this year.

Despite beating BMW in Germany, the new A4 was not the most frequently bought model in 2008. First place went to the Volkswagen Golf.

Paris 2008: The Audi A4 TDI concept e

Audi is introducing a trend-setting technology concept at the Paris Auto Show: the A4 TDI concept e offers the typically agile experience of driving an Audi, yet it uses just 3.99 liters of fuel per 100 km (58.95 US mpg), which corresponds to a CO2 output of only 105 grams per km (168.98 g/mile).

The powertrain of the Audi A4 TDI concept e uses a direct-injection TDI engine with an output of 88 kW (120 hp) and 290 Nm (213.89 lb-ft) of torque. It propels the sedan from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 10.7 seconds, and tops out at 206 km/h (128 mph).

Audi A4 AvantAudi has launched a new campaign for the 2009 A4. Audi is taking a very strong attack on BMW and Mercedes by calling them: Slower, Smaller, Less Fuel Efficient.

Audi claims at the end of the commercial that the new Audi A4 is The fastest, biggest, most fuel-efficient car in its class. These are definetely changing times for Audi as its sales are strong around the world and their development on new models and technologies is quit remarkable.
