Mercedes at the Detroit Auto Show (live from Detroit)
Our favorite from Mercedes-Benz at the Detroit Auto Show is the McLaren SLR Stirling Moss, that will be limited to just 75 units and has a price tag of one million U.S. dollars.
This supercar is powered by a 650 hp supercharged 5.5-liter V8. The car lacks roof and windshield, but still has a top speed of 217 mph ( 350 km/h) and 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) comes in just 3.5 seconds. (Read more about it here.) In addition Mercedes showed the BlueZero Concept, SL65 AMG, S-Class, S63 AMG and few other models.

Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG “10th Anniversary”
The successful ML 63 AMG will be available next summer as the especially exclusive “10th Anniversary” variant. The 375-kW/510-hp top M-Class model fascinates with its striking appearance and extraordinary standard features. With the ML 63 AMG “10th Anniversary”, Mercedes AMG is celebrating ten years of high-performance SUVs.
The ML 55 AMG with a 255-kW/347-hp AMG 5.5-l V8 engine, launched in 1999, is considered the trendsetter and founder of an entire vehicle segment.
The Carlsson CK63 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG
With the C-Class top-of-the line model C 63 AMG, Mercedes-Benz has given an impressive statement in the medium class. Where else can you get an enormous larger than 6 liter V8 engine in a relatively small car?
But as the power output is comparably low, the high-tech manufacturer Carlsson activates the hidden potential. With up to 565 hp, the Carlsson CK63 leaves its competitors behind its (stainless steel) end pipes. And equipped with new wheels and even more sporty aerodynamics,
the top-of-the line C-Class model refined by Carlsson also shows clear features of a top athlete.

Spied: Mika Häkkinen & Klaus Ludwig testing 2009 E-Class
M. Schumacher has been testing different Ferrari models and now it seems that Klaus Ludwig the old german Touring Car Champion is testing the upcoming Mercedes-Benz E-Class with Formula 1 star Mika Häkkinen. Not a bad job for a “retired” race car driver.
Today ex formula 1 driver Mika Häkkinen drove with a copilot and instructor Klaus Ludwig the new Mercedes Benz E-Class prototype around the Nürburgring. It’s not possible to get any sound on the photos, but the sound was just awesome and there has to be a powerful AMG under the hood.
2010 / 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLC Gullwing spied near Nürburgring
We have seen the upcoming Mercedes-Benz supercar earlier, but never with that little disguise.
We still don’t know what will it be called, but rumors are circulating that it will be called either SLC or SLS and badged as an AMG. No information will the model will have Gullwing name in it or not.
Power comes from AMG’s 6.2-liter V8 with around 600 hp. 0-62 mph in about 3.7 seconds. The car looks to be bigger than the SLR McLaren. Enjoy the photos!
