More Fiat 500 Cabrio spy shots and a rendering

Rumors started in spring last year that Fiat is working on a 500 Cabrio and even the company’s director of design confirmed that the Italian manufacturer was working on an open-top version. We saw the first test mules back in September.

The newcomer will be a cabrio coach or semi-convertible that has a retractable textile roof.

2010 Fiat 500 Cabrio spotted with less disguise

We saw the Fiat 500 Cabrio first time in September, the car spotted in Germany had quit a a strong disguise. Now the little cute 500 Cabrio was spotted again in Italy with almost no disguise on its retractable soft top.

You can clearly see how the soft roof goes down on the rear. Side windows are fixed and it is clear it is the so called semi-convertible not the full classical cabrio. No information will this semi-convertible be the only variant, or is Fiat also considering a full cabrio.

Fiat 500 Cabrio spotted again with a better view of the rear

Yesterday we brought you the first photos of the Fiat 500 cabrio that was spotted inside the garage with a disguised roof. Here it is again spotted outside with a better shot of the rear.

This here should be the semi-convertible that gets the retractable roof. We are sure Fiat is also working on the classical cabrio just like the new Mini Cabrio.
