Video: Volkswagen Pickup Concept

VW introduced the Pickup Concept at this year’s IAA back in September. When the concept enters the production it will go on sale in Europe, Australia and South Africa. Production will start beginning of next year in Argentina. This 1 ton pickup will be first offered most likely only with a turbodiesel engine.

Now VW has released a “Baywatch” styled promotional trailer, where two lifeguards are saving the female kite surfer. Wonder where is the Hoff and rest of the Baywatch crew? They would have done it so much better:)

Volkswagen unveils Pickup Concept

Volkswagen Pickup Concept We have seen the Volkswagen Robust prototype with temporary body panels. Here are the images of the Pickup Concept VW will present at the 62nd IAA Commercial Show end of this week.

Most likely it will be called Robust or Taro as speculated earlier. Looking at the concept we believe the final production model will not change much from what you can see on the images below.
