1960 Ferrambo Wagon - Ferrari powered custom Rambler
Posted on August 30th, 2008 by Robert Adams | Posted under: Custom cars, Ferrari
This here is most probably one of the best custom jobs we have seen in a long time. Ferrambo is a 1960 Rambler that is powered by Ferrari’s 3.6L V8 engine that came out of a wrecked 2002 Ferrari 360 Modena.
Every little detail has given lot of attention and was either machined or handmade. V8 from a Ferrari 360 Modena was placed to the rear and where the original engine was is now a luggage compartment. As the engine is Ferrari’s so is the 6-speed manual transmission, also Ferrari unequal wishbone front and rear suspension were used.
