Suzuki Alto Concept previewed ahead of Tokyo debut

Suzuki Alto ConceptUpcoming Tokyo Motor Show is all about domestic automakers as many European and US manufacturers are not “showing up” because of the economic situation.

Japanese automaker Suzuki has announced that their exhibition booth will be all about small car for a big feature and will have automobiles, motorcycles, power assisted bicycles and electric wheelchairs all under one roof.

Suzuki has now announced that they will bring there a new Alto Concept that points to the future of the minivehicle by combining newly honed performance with minivehicle economy and user-friendliness.

Main features of the Alto concept are a big, simple, highly legible speedometer, an easy-to-use floor-mounted shifter, simple switches and storage spaces.

Styling wise this concept looks quite production ready, and we would not be surprised if Suzuki announces the replacement of the current 7th generation Alto in the near future.
