This Peugeot 308 ended up in snow when the test driver tried to take the corner with a hand brake. As you can see he failed and ended up stuck in the snow wall. There was no actual damage to the car and a friendly Golf Variant driver pushed the car out.
What makes this Peugeot 308 interesting are the “mudguards” over rear wheel arches.
As the car was spotted in Northern Sweden near Peugeot testing facility then it is very likely that Peugeot is up to something and testing a new version of the 308.
It is too early for a facelift so we suspect it is a test mule for the Sport version. Current GT version of the 308 has 175 horsepower from a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine.
308 Sport would get more power(175 hp just is not enough) and sportier handling to compete with Golf GTI and the upcoming Renault Megane Alpine.
