According to insiders facelifted Santa Fe will be out in September. As we can see from these spy photos it will get new rear lights, new exhaust tips, new grille and new front lights. Of course both bumpers will be new as well.
For better fuel economy Hyundai will add new engines to the new Santa Fe.
One of the new engines for Europe is a 2.2CRDi with 190 horsepower that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Another new engine is the 2.4-liter four cylinder gasoline unit, that currnetly also powers the Hyundai Sonata. This engine will be available in the U.S. as well. Both engines will offer great improvement in fuel economy compared to current engines.
Some of the rumored new options on the new Santa Fe include folding side mirrors and rear parking camera in the rear view mirror.
