Spy photos: 2011 Porsche Cayenne

Next generation Porsche Cayenne has been spotted again wearing almost no disguise. We can see a side view with no disguise at all revealing a new more compact design and a new third window design.

Porsche engineers are only trying to hide the final design of rear and headlights. Looking at the white tape around the headlights it looks like the new lights are inspired by the Cayman giving Cayenne a much sportier look.

Under the hood will be the same choice of engines, including V6 turbodiesel and V6 and V8 gasoline units. Top of the range Panamera Turbo will pack over 500 horsepower and as the car is lighter it is expected to outperform the new BMW X5 M/X6 M.

For the first time Porsche will offer Cayenne as a hybrid version with a 330 hp V6 engine mated to a 45 hp electric motor.
