This is the new Saab 9-5 Griffin Edition that will debut in the upcoming Detroit Auto Show.
Featuring a four cylinder 2.3 liter turbo engine kicking out 260hp, complete with exclusive 17″ wheels and Aero-kits, special badges and a matte chrome front lamp lining, with specially kitted interiors including accent colored leather stitching on the steering, hand brake lever etc.
Basically, a tarted up 10 year old car with a fancy name. Prices will start at $42,775 for the sedan and $44,045 for the Combi (Wagon). Yes, its supposed to be the flagship of Saab, however considering there’s a Saab 9-3 Turbo-X that kicks out 280hp with a 2.6 liter V6 unit, one could easily judge whether this will be Saab’s savior.
