Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost interior spied again with less disguise

We have seen parts of the Silver Ghost (codenamed RR4) interior before. This time we can show you almost whole dash and judging from this first picture it will be quite different than the Phantom when it comes to the interior design.

CEO Tom Purves told Automotive News that the RR4′s development is on track and it should be available beginning of 2010.

According to Purves this smaller Rolls will be targeted to younger buyers and will be “more like a well cut sports jacket than a tuxedo [the Phantom]”

Prices will be slightly less than on the Phantom, but custom version could cost more. Rumor is that there is a coupe and cabrio version also in plans. We believe prices will start around 190,000 Euros ($250,000).

Silver Ghost will use a V12 engine which is not a direct engine from BMW. According to Mr. Purves 80% of its components are unique compared to the BMW unit. This luxury sedan gets suicide doors(Rolls-Royce calls them coach doors). Length of the car is speculated to be over 5.3 meters (17.4 feet).

Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost is the model which will likely double the company’s production when launched in 2010. Concept version called EX200, that will preview the production model will be unveiled next month at the Geneva Motor Show.
