Just recently Ford unveiled details about the 2011 MY Ford Mustang V6 that gets an impressive 305 hp. It was safe to assume that the GT version will also get more power for the 2011 model year.
New leaked details unveil that the 2011 Mustang GT will get a 5.0-liter V8 that pumps out a very impressive 412 horsepower. Not bad at all.
For comparison 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS has 422 hp from a 6.2-liter V8 and 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 has 425 hp from a 6.1-liter Hemi.
Lets not forget that Mustang is lighter than these two rivals, so our guess is that the new Mustang GT will outperform both of them.
