Rendered speculation: Lamborghini Insecta Concept

The Lamborghini Insecta Concept is a design study created by Romanian designer Iulian Bumbu. Despite being just an idea with no relations to Lamborghini, it is an awesome looking 2-seater supercar concept.

His inspiration came from bugs(insects) and their exoskeletons. This kind of “armor” appearance can bee seen on the back and top views.

According to Iulian: “The idea was to create an extreme race-oriented supercar with a style that introduces softer and more organic lines and integrate them into the geometrical style of Lamborghini.”

Insecta Concept is 4,300 mm long (same as the Gallardo), height is 1,000 mm, width 2,000 mm and wheelbase is 2,650 mm.

If ever produced then power would come from the same V10 found in the Gallard, body is made of carbon fiber. We love it and see no reason why something similar should not be made by Lamborghini.
