Ferrari is working on the new Enzo that is known internally as FX70. There are no information on potential powertrain. Ferrari could go with the V12, just like the first Enzo or downsize to a twin-turbo V8. V8 would have less power, but it would also save weight keeping the same performance.
New Enzo should be ready earliest by 2011 with a price tag above $600,000 and a production run limited to just few hundred units.

…..A letter written by Montzemelo, was published on the web saying that it would be a Twin-Turbo V8 with 794HP….so it wouldnt be less powerfull but almost 140 hp more than the outgoing Enzo! Direct injection will mean cleaner engine and bigger mpg numbers!
gabibiza, hate to burst your bubble but it was shown that the “letter written by Montzemelo” was a fake. completely fake.
Don’t let the SRT boys get a hold of this platform. Remember the Chrysler ME Four 12? Now that Fiat is retiring the Viper, I can see a spinoff of this vehicle pumping over 1000-hp [quad turbo].
