We have brought you many sets of spy photos that show us next-generation Mercedes-Benz CLS.

All these prototypes have been wearing very heavy disguise and temporary body panels so it is very hard to tell how the production model will look like.

Based on spy photos we have created two renderings to show how the next generation CLS might look like.

So far we know that the new CLS will use the stretched E-Class platform and will follow the same coupe-like design. We believe that the new model will have a more aggressive design compared to the current model.

Power is expected to come from a wide range of sources including both diesel and gasoline engines. CLS BlueHybrid will feature the same engine as the new S400. Top of the line model will get the usual AMG treatment with over 500 horsepower.

Some of the closest competitors who are on the market by then are Aston Martin Rapide, Porsche Panamera and Audi A7.
