Honda has finally confirmed what we all suspected for a while now. The new Honda CR-Z is coming next year. The Fit Hybrid is scheduled for release late in 2010. The short, but telling press release hypes up the two hybrids. They are the latest in Integrated Motor Assistance (IMA) system. Focus is also placed on the high efficiency, compactness and lightweight body.
The CR-Z is a sporty hybrid that was inspired by the CRX. It was unveiled in 2007 at the Tokyo Motor Show. It enters the market in Japan this coming February. The Fit Hybrid hits the Pacific later in the year. Honda has yet to publicly state whether the two models will be sold in the United States. However, a formal announcement is expected when the current productions of the CR-Z and Fit Hybrid make their showing in October at the Tokyo Motor Show.
