Peugeot Capsule is a design study by Alp Germaner from Johannesburg, South Africa.

According to Alp his main inspiration came from his KLR 650-A motorcycle, which “is known to be a reliable mule that inspires people to ride out and explore.”

This single seater off-roader concept features full internet satellite connectivity, roof-mounted solar panel, single horizontal screen wiper, all wheel drive with electric motors, GPS navigation and connection with other Capsules.

There are no side mirrors, instead there are external cameras which display live video on LCD displays. Rear luggage box is designed to fit enough gear for overnight trips and is removable so it can be used as a table.

It would be cool to see something similar from Peugeot or someone else, we don’t expect to see it with electric motors, but something small and reliable for off-roading with a roof ahead would be excellent for the days when it is cold and rainy outside.
