Paris 2008: Lada Revolution 3

We can’t remember when Russian auto industry introduced a concept that made it into production. Last time they announced a new model, it was an rebadged Sebring that they are calling Volga Siber.

Now in Paris they have a concept called Lada Revolution 3. It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged Renault engine that makes 245 hp. 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) takes 5.9 seconds. Top speed is 250 km/h. Length of the car is 4.2 meters, width 1.8 meters and height 1.15 meters. The car has heavily tinted windows so we can’t see the interior. Probably because there is nothing to see.

For some reason they compare it with Porsche Cayman and claim that is faster. Surely according to Russians the Cayman is 0,2 seconds slower in a 0-100 km/h sprint, but Cayman is a real car not another concept that will most likely never see production.
