The Mercedes Benz ML Class is expected to make its debut in 2011, but its prototype has already been captured test driven in heavy camouflage by cameras. The car looks quite similar to the 2009 model, but has a somewhat more compact body.

The roof and beltline are also similar, but finer details are not visible. In order to meet stricter European standards and also be more environmentally friendly, the new ML is expected to offer a 2.2 liter four-cylinder diesel engine developing 152kW, while a 168kW V6 diesel and a 248kW petrol V6 will add to the engine options.
